This can be done using the Aux Input connection of the RJ-11 Aux connector on the USP-2 module.

When assigned to do so-when a voltage is applied to the AUX In connection of the USP-2 the amplifier will go into stand-by mode (Shut off) and turn back on when the voltage is removed. However, when set to inverted the logic is reversed. The AUX In is then set up to turn the amplifier on when a voltage is removed and off when a voltage is applied. This logic set up is done on the General Tab of the USP-2's GUI.

The physical side of this would involve applying a 5-15VDC voltage to Pin 5 from the Normally Closed contact of a relay. Then when the relay is actuated the voltage is removed and the amplifier will turn on.

To simplify things, a little, the voltage going to the relay for the AUX In could come from the AUX Out of the same RJ-11. This Aux Out voltage is also turned on in the General Tab of the USP-2's GUI.

I have attached a simple diagram that should help show how to do this.

You should be able to drive the Aux In of up to 15 other amplifier PIP cards.

Be aware that if that amplifier or PIP quits working so does your voltage controlling all the amplifiers giving you a single point of failure in the system.
