You can create a preset Off Line by:

*Open IQwin or IQwiq depending on the components communication.

*Create the device (Dataframe|New Component) and give it the IQ address of the real device or open a saved .wiq file that contains the device.

*Make the changes or modifications to the device.

*Save it. Save the file under a new name (File|Save).

*After attaching to the system and starting the IQ software open the new file and when prompted "Engage" it. This will put the file's settings into active memory of the device.

*In the device's Preset control panel select the desired preset number and save the active memory into the preset.

*Label the Preset.

The file made off line will now be in the desired preset. :)
