  1. CTs600 Setup Question

What do you mean by that fud57? The speakers are 8Ohm stereo pair, and the source is a pro audio interface.
  2. CTs600 Setup Question

No sign of clipping no. Never even gets to the -20 mark.
  3. So I've connected the amp and everything seems to work fine but I want to ask about the "input sensitivity" switch and the fan operation. My signal chain is: RME Fireface audio interface (+4dBU) > CTs600 > Speakers. 1) I have the amp's input sensitivity at 1.4V (4/8 Ohms). Is this correct for an input level of +4dBU? 2) The fans kick in after a few mins of running some bass heavy material through the amp. Any way of fighting this? Thanks.

  5. Pheonix Connector - Help

I can't seem to locate a terminal block. Is there a specific "phoenix contact" product number or type/size? I'm located in Germany. What am I looking for? http://www.canford.co.uk/Products/43-495_P...OR-3-pin-female http://www.canford.co.uk/Products/43-496_M...OR-3-pin-female

Great thanks. Nice to have such great support.
  7. Pheonix Connector - Help

Thanks! Another short question regarding the fans. Do they tend make a noticeable amount of noise? Will they even come on in low-moderate volumes when the amp is only used to drive two bookshelf speakers?
  8. Hi, first post, nice forum! I've just won a bid on a CTs600 amp to be used in my home studio for monitoring purposes. I don't quite get the 3 pin pheonix connectors. If I want to go from a balanced 1/4" output to it, I need to strip the cable > connect the wires to a 3 pin pheonix terminal block > stick that in the inputs? Do I need the terminal block between the stripped wires and the amp inputs? Did I get this right? BTW Any comments on the sound of this amp?
