  1. I downloaded sys arch 1.6 and tried to connect to 3 CTs amps. The amps could be seen in the network wizard window, but not in the Venue. Called tech support and downloaded IQwic. With sys arch running in the background and IQwic in the foreground the amps were going on and off line, and IQwic was having problems. I did not know that sys arch was causing the problem until I closed it and everything started acting normally in IQwic. Now the problem with sys arch still exist. The firmware in the amps is version 1.2 dating back to Jan 05. Could this be the problem? Do I need to update the firmware in IQwic to get sys arch to function normally? I realize that you can do the same things in both programs, however sys arch "if it would work" does seem to be a little more user friendly.

Thank you for the fast responce DGlass. As I've stated I am new to the amps being used and the system. I guess the thing that stood out most for me and made me start asking questions is there are many frequencies on the sound board "Allen Heath GL2400" that are being boosted. A sound company came in and performed a RTA on the system and so forth before I arrived. I have been spending alot of my spare time just playing with the software "no system connected" and the more I play the better I like it! Still I have lots of reading to do. I don't fully understand the input vs. speaker groups, but I'm sure I'll find the answer somewhere in the manual. Once again, thank you for the quick responce. Robby
  3. I am a first time user of the Crown CTS amps. We currently have (2) CTs 600's (1) CTs 2000 and (1) Cts 3000. We are using the digital equalizers in the software. I have browsed through the software and have found what apperas to be an input and an output eq? At first glance there doesn't seem to be sufficient bands for precise FOH settings. Are they more than they appear? How do they compair to a good 1/3 octave eq? I see that you can vary the Q of each band, but I'm not sure that would be sufficient if there were multiple problems that needed to be dealt with. Having said all that I am also new to the system that they are a part of and have not had much time on the board. Thanks, Robby
