How do I control boom bounce in the CM-311A?

My CM-311A headworn mic is moving up and down with my movements as a drummer. What should I do to prevent this?

Reply: Make sure that the foam windscreen is touching your lips, and that the headband is tight enough on your head. You can bend the headband inward to make it tighter (it takes some force). After the headband fits well, loosen the thumbscrew that holds the mic boom. Position the microphone in the center of your lips, with the foam windscreen touching your lips. Tighten the thumbscrew.

Your lips help to "lock" the mic in place so it doesn't bounce around. A little bouncing is normal if you're moving a lot; it doesn't hurt the sound or the mic.
