How do I manually add components?

Adding components to a dataframe makes the components accessible to IQ for Windows , typically this is done by running a roll call. A roll call is initiated by selecting New from the File Menu. You may add components to a dataframe whether or not you are currently connected to an IQ System. (This process is used for adding older components that do not show up during roll call.) From the Dataframe Menu select New Components, From the pick list select an IQ component and assign it an address or a range of addresses. As a component is added to a dataframe, a component image appears in the Workplace Page.
