How can I phantom power my GLM-200E or GLM-100E? |
The diagram below shows how to build a circuit that can phantom-power
a GLM-200E or GLM-100E.
The two 6.8 K resistors must be matched in value within 1 percent. They form a voltage divider with the 1.5K resistor , creating 9V DC from a 48V supply. That 9V feeds the red lead in the GLM-200E. The transformer changes the mic's signal from unbalanced to balanced, and converts its impedance from high to low.
