How can I make a line-level to mic-level adapter for my camcorder?

I have a wireless mic receiver that has only a line-out/headphone output . I want to run it into my Sony camcorder mic input . What kind of adapter do I need to reduce the signal level from line-level to mic-level?

Reply: The drawing below shows a simple adapter cable that converts line-level to mic-level. The two resistors drop the level 40 dB. The capacitor blocks DC from the camcorder mic input. The capacitor can be 1 to 4.7 microfarads, 10 volts or higher. You can solder together this adapter cable yourself, or ask an electronics friend or music-store tech to make it for you. As far as I know, this adapter is not available commercially.
