TORONTO, Canada - November 2006 -- Giving new definition to the term ‘higher power’, P.A. Plus Productions, Inc. recently deployed 80 Crown I-Tech 4000 amplifiers at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for ‘Just Give Me Jesus’, which likely goes on the record books as Canada’s largest-ever, multi-denominational Christian women’s gathering.
Hosted by Anne Graham Lotz, founder of AnGeL Ministries and daughter of Reverend Billy Graham, the two-day evangelistic revival attracted an estimated crowd of 17,000 each day to hear the inspirational teachings and testimonies of Lotz and Jill Briscoe as well as the musical praise of Fernando Ortega and Stephanie Seefeldt.
According to P.A. Plus Account Manager Mike Dilullo, the entire event was exclusively and flawlessly powered by I-Techs driving JBL VerTec VT4889 and VT4887 line array speakers, VT4880 subwoofers, and SRX 712M stage monitors. “We switched our shop over to Crowns two years ago and they are now the only amplifiers that we use,” he says. “One thing we particularly appreciate about the I-Techs is their programmable DSP presets. We have fifteen different system settings loaded into each of our amplifiers and they allow us to configure any loudspeaker setup very quickly and painlessly.”
Since making the jump to I-Tech, P.A. Plus, has used its amplifiers on a myriad of shows for a broad spectrum of artists, such as Art Garfunkel, John Legend, Godsmack and Dave Chappelle, all of whom have performed at Toronto’s venerable Massey Hall.
