NASHVILLE, Tennessee - June 2002 -- Crown International announces that Cary Pierce, one of the company's microphone endorsers, will be performing at 'The Hang' during this year's Summer NAMM Show. The Dallas-based singer/songwriter will take the stage, located in the back of the Gaylord Arena, for a solo acoustic set at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 20. The performance is free for show attendees.

Pierce will also be making several appearances at the Crown booth (#5416) throughout the day (please check for scheduled times), in addition to performing at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday the 21st.

Best known as half of the '90s duo Jackopierce, Pierce has sold nearly 400,000 records and developed a deep fan base from his many years of extensive touring. In the studio, Pierce prefers to use a pair of Crown CM-700 condenser microphones on his acoustic guitar and a Crown PZM-30D to capture ambient room sounds.

In addition to his 1999 Aware Records solo debut, You Are Here, the musician has released foreverything vol. 1 and, recently, vol. 2 on his own label. Pierce is also a respected producer, producing records for Jack Ingram, Jay Quinn Band, Graham Colton, and Jenny Esping. He was additionally instrumental in the early development of several popular bands, including Vertical Horizon, Evan & Jaron, and Guster.
