I have Noticed that HP are no longer making ARM processor PDA's is there anything else that would do the job?

We have tested the Pocket IQ on four or five machines, all of which were running PocketPC2002. It should work on any machine running PocketPC2002. We have not finished testing on PocketPC2003 but according to the documentation the developers have; it should also run under 2003. In theory it is processor and brand independent.

I got a little more clarification from the programmers. The software will work with xScale, which I can attest to as my iPAQ has an xScale. According to the documentation the Samsung chip is also a member of the ARM family and should work although we have not tested it.

Where you able to ping from the desktop machine to the iPaq?

Also what were the gateway settings and proxy address you were using. I am trying to recreate it here.

The goal of the ping was to ensure that there was communication with the iPAQ. A loptop is not required for PocketIQ to work, just a network connection.

Are you able to connect to other wireless items with your handheld?
Does the WLAN control panel show the Access Point?

Yes, Crown (and I) will be there. Let's try to meet face to face and see what we can hammer out on this problem.
