Preset indicator ma5000i and ma9000i

purchased these amps used just recently.  the 5000 flashes green and the 9000 flashes yellow twice.  what exactly is this telling me?

Are you talking about the rear flashing leds? :

Data Indicator: Yellow LED indicates network data activity.

Data indicator fl ashes only when the amplifi er is polled

for data, or is polled to see whether it is online.

Preset Indicator: Green LED flashes to signal the number

of the current preset if active.

Yeah rear flashing Preset Indicator LEDs.

The preset led identifies the selected preset number. After boot-up, the controller identifies the previously selected and loaded preset. The number of times that the green led flashes between yellow spurts of the data indicator, indicates the preset number.
To select a new preset : Insert a pin in the through hole between the two leds; Press the contact switch and hold until the yellow data led flashes, then release the contact. The preset number should have incremented by one. Repeat until the requested preset is indicated.
