I may be looking for a CTs 4200 on the used market.  I see pictures of back panels, some units have one fan, other have two fans.  Was there a revision of that model somewhere in time?  Which one is older/newer?  Thanks!

The initial 4 channel CTS4200 had 4 internal, independent amplifier modules and SMPS power supply. The internal amplifier module was also available with the 8 channel CTS8200. Initially, there were some issues involving the amplifier modules and their mounting aparatus. After a few years, the CTS4200A came about and the original CTS4200 was retired. This time the amplifier modules were now integrated with the main board which helped reduce its reliability issues. The older CTS4200 had (4) fans for thermal cooling while the newer CTS4200A has only one!

Perhaps it won't change your POV, but in the older CTS4200, there is only two fans present. The four fan chassis is for the CTS8200.
