Hi All,
I wish to have a Rave connected to a 300m (980 ft) long Cat5 cable for digital audio signal transmit. I know it exceed the limit for CAT5 cable itself hence I am sourcing for a Ethernet Extenders. The device claimed to be able to "Extend your Ethernet infrastructure using existing copper wire" for 300m (980 ft) long and signal can be tranfered at 50mbps. We wish to have the optical fibre but it is impossible at this stage.
If I want to have our Rave 188s-24 connected to a Ethernet Extenders with 50mbps, is it possible? Since I know there is basic brandwidth requirement for a Rave to work fine.
Urgent!
Thank you!
Regards,
Ada Yuen
