Simply put, ICF blocks unsolicited network traffic, or incoming network traffic that is not a response to a request. The IQwic client program is not affected by the firewall. TCPIQ Utility, however, does listen for unsolicited discovery messages that are sent out by TCPIQ devices on the network, and this does trigger a warning from ICF which is shown at the end of this message.
The correct response to this is to select "Unblock." This will allow TCPIQ Utility to continue to receive these messages while not compromising the security of the PC.
There are no other known issues with IQwic and Windows XP SP 2 to report at this time.
