Why is that it goes up to +20 when the control panel shows only 0db?

I think I will need a little more information. 
What product, PIP card, ITech, XTi/Cdi/Dsi?
What firmware version?
What software are you using? and the version number?

ITech amps, in the input tab at the right side the inpur meter goes up to +20db but the input stop at 0db analog?
