[COLOR=blue]I just purchased a CE1000. Upon powering up the unit with no input or output devices attached, the channel 2 input LED glowed steady state. I hooked up a preamp/receiver and speakers to the amp and get a steady hum from channel 2. Any ideas as to what the problem could be. I am considering returning the unit for a refund.

Fred, it sounds like you've got a blown input op amp for that channel. The op amp is outputting DC which causes the lamp to glow (and produces hum).
What you could do is disconnect the input module and see if you still have a problem.
To do this, remove the four screws from the input module and gently lift it out. Then disconnect the ribbon cable that's attached.
Re-power and see if you still have a problem.
