Is the amp in Dual Channel or Mono Mode?

How hard are you driving the inputs?
Are both channels receiving the same signal?
Have you changed the input sensitivity settings on one channel?

Have you switched the inputs to see if it is an input signal problem?
Does the problem go to the other side when you switch inputs?

Have you switched the outputs to see if it is a load problem?
Does the problem go to the other side when you switch outputs?

The CTS1200 clip circuit also monitors the input signal. If the output signal doesn't appear to clip because of headroom limitation (ie: low volume...) then the clip lite indicates that the input circuit detected excessive signal. Adjust sensitivity switch to an appropriate setting and/or lower the level controls.
