I intend to use a sennhiser ME66 short shotgun along with an AKG CK94 fig of 8 as a mid side arrangement within my Rycote basket.
What distance from the front of the ME66 should the CK94 be mounted?
i.e. How far down the interference tube?
And how will varying this distance affect the recorded sound?
Finally has anyone used this arrangement?
Thanks

The diaphragms of both mics should be aligned so that the mic signals will be in phase. In other words, the interference tube should stick out in front of both mics. I don't know how misalignment affects the polar patterns or sound.
