Does anyone have any insight as to why one rack of my IT 4000s seems to put out lots of heat with fans running, with no load attatched to the speaker outputs? The other amp rack in the same condition seems tom have no fans running and is quite cool with no mload attatched. Any insight?

Because the one that puts out heat has programs in it and the other one does not. Am I right? When I bought the Itec's they were cool and no fans........as soon as I dumped programs in them, the fans spooled up and they put out heat even at idle.
