Hi :)

I have a couple of PS-400's I'd like to use to drive the JBL 4435 speakers.

the nominal impedance of the 4435 is 8 ohms and the minimum impedance

is > 4 ohms.

My program is:

One PS-400 working in mono-bridge mode to drive one 4435,the other

PS-400 working in Mono-bridge mode too to drive the other 4435 Speaker.

1)This will cause the PS-400 amplifier overheating or dangerous?

2)or distortion will be greater in stereo mode?

my english is very poor,Please describe as simple as possible.

Thank you very much :)

I'm not familiar with this amp model, but I would think bridged onto 8 ohms nominal would be fine. Don't worry about the speaker's minimum impedance, all speakers have it and this is accounted for when the manufacturer spec the amp.

Hello there :)

You will have no problem connecting these speakers to the amp in bridge mono, one per amp, however, thees amps output much more then what these speakers can handle so watch out, you will fry their voice coil easily!!!
