4 posts in this topic

I have an xls 602 thats about 3 months old and during transport to a gig what i can only assume was "fog juice" spilled and made its way into my amp

not knowing it had moisture in it i powered it up needless to say its not powering up at all .

is this covered by "no fault" warranty or am i wasting my time

Thanks in advance for any information

Phinx, I'd get that stuff out of there ASAP! So many chemicals are corrosive to electronic equipment. Time is of the essence!

You'll need a Torx T15 to take it apart. Pay attention to detail when dissassembling.

Clean it up as best you can! Reassamble it and you might still have an amp!

Good luck!

Just as Mr. Ripley said "Believe it or Not" it would be covered under the Crown Warranty. :)

Go to our Web site and create a Service Return Authorization (SRA) and get it back to us.
