  1. Can I control my Crown 2402 from my laptop? What PIP cards would I need? What if I have multiple Amps?
  2. So, using your example of two 4 ohm speakers, what do you come up with if they were connected in series? 8ohms What if they were connected in parallel? is it the 2.67 ohms????
  3. Thank you for your replies, this really helps. I just have one more question, lets say I have a 4 ohm speaker on one channel and decided to add another 4ohm speaker on the same channel... what would the ohms be???? 1 ohms???? is there an ohm theory???
  4. So let me understand the ohms stuff first. 1 EL-36B on one channel is 8 ohms, 2 EL-36B on one channel brings it to 4 ohms? and 3 EL-36B on one channel brings it down to 2 ohms? Is this right????
  5. These are the specs on the CV EL-36B: • Frequency Response: 30 Hz - 300 Hz • Peak Power Handling: 1000 watts • Program Power Handling: 500 watts • Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms • Sensitivity (1w/1m): 106 dB Has anybody run 3 per channel? stereo? mono? parallel?
  6. Hi everyone, I have a pair of JBL MRX525 speakers and have 2 2402 Macrotechs running in mono for each speaker. I want to be able to add another QSC amp that I have to the same input channels that the Crown's are running so I can add another pair of speakers that I have laying around. Because I am using only one XLR input of the PIP2, can I use the other one to Daisy Chain the QSC amp? Or is there a special PIP card I have to buy to do that? I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance!!!
