  1. Well, to start off, I'm not a whiz when it comes to audio equipment, but I know enough to get by. At our last show, our Macrotech 5002VZ had one side die on us. The Signal/IOC light appears to be "full on" as well as enable lighted as it appears in the manual as a possible troubleshooting tip. It suggests that our amp may be either in Stand By mode or in Drive Protection mode. Given the circumstances, I'm assuming that it's a problem with the Drive Protection mode kicking in as we have recently purchased a new sound board and had not yet dialed in all the protective measures to "limit" the input signal. Doing a little further poking around, I notice that when the top cover is removed, the channel 2 had lighted LED's under DC/LF and Standby. The DC/LF light blinks off one time approximately every 5 seconds. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen this before and if so, how do I get it back into working condition? Thanks in advance for any advice/help on this!
