About DJSlyfox

  1. thanks man, will look into it if there are no other solutions.
  2. The data light on one of my ma-5000i keeps blinking whether or not an ethernet cable is connected via a laptop. Also, with this problem, the amplifier powers on, but the green ready light remains off as well as the green signal light is off when a signal is present. I tried connecting the amplifier via system architecture but i receive no communication/control.
  3. i powered on the amplifier today and the ready light came on on its own without me making any changes at all. however this is only this amplifier the fan races off, reallyy loud compared to the other amplifiers, as soon as its powered on without signal or load. Is anyone aware of this problem? I know for sure the problem with the ready light not turning on was due to overheating. But now its turning on with a loud fan blowing cool air. I tried the amplifier with signal and load and it works as normal however im sure the 'surging' behaviour of the fan is a fault/ a setting that needs to be adjusted.
  4. ok thanks. now its just info on the ready light ill need. Great forum
  5. and is the only way to solve this being to lower the input signal? thanks for the reply
  6. is the thermistor at fault/need to be replaced if the fans are racing into full speed? or is it normal for the fans to be "screaming"?
  7. Hi i currently own 8 macrotech 12000i amps as well as 8 9000i. The problem im having is one of the 12000i amplifiers the ready light isnt coming on. I assume its due to heat since this particular amp was in such environment. Is there a way to troubleshoot this problem? I have read that it may be the thermistor at fault. Also, most of my amplifier fans are racing off really loud after about 10minutes into turning them on. Im worried these may overheat on a gig and go into "standby" just as one of my current 12000is. Thanks in advance
  8. Hi, i currently own 8 macrotech 12000i and 8 macrotech 9000i. Ive seen pictures online where the green light around the gain knob lights in proportion to the amount the knob has been turned. However, all my amps the green light are fully on whether max to little turn of the knob. Is there anyway to change this setting? Thanks in advance
