  1. Yes Joust you are right. XTI 4002 voltage reading is right but not with XTI 6002. Please let me know if you found something. Thanks
  2. Thanks Joust, it's a relief. I was troubled because the reading was right with my XTI 4002. It's only XTI 6002 that give a different reading. Is it normal for both of the amplifier model to be giving a different reading?
  3. Hi people, When I connect Xti 6002 amplifier to laptop and check the voltage through bandmanager it shows a very high voltage. When the voltage from the main supply show 240volt, Xti 6002 shows around 270-276volt. Downloading firmware and installing does not fix the problem. Should I be worried? I'm afraid it might blow out the speaker.
  4. Hi people, When I connect Xti 6002 amplifier to laptop and check the voltage through hiqnet it shows a very high voltage. When the voltage from the main supply show 240volt, Xti 6002 shows around 270-276volt. Downloading firmware does not fix the problem. Should I be worried? I'm afraid it might blow out the speaker.
  5. Thanks, everyone. I'll be careful next time
  6. Hi everyone, I would like to get some info on USBX and its iPad app. Is it easy to set up with an XTi2 amp. How much features and control does the app has and what is the working distance of USBX and iPad? Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the link Dakos. I forgot my password and didn't log in for a long time. I am not using any EQ except in the mixing console. The amplifier is flat and there are no EQ connected to the console either. kapou.
  8. Hi friends, My Xti 6002 is giving another problem. I use yamaha R215 speakers which has 4 ohms rating and 1000watt program output. The amp blew up both the left and right tweeter coil and had to be replaced. I believe it has something to do with voltage fluctuation. I don't use a CVT for the system to control voltage fluctuation and the coil was blown when the voltage was low. Crown wrote an article about tweeter coil being blown if the amplifier power output is lesser than the power required by the speakers. Is the same problem being replicated in my system in a different way? I mean like the amp is not getting enough voltage to drive the speakers and hence blew up the tweeter coil... Can anybody advice me on setting up power system required for live application? Thanks
  9. Thanks Dakos for the link. Let me try it out.
  10. Thanks alot Alain, I should try with AA again then. There is no problem connecting the amp directly to the computer through a USB cable. I've tried it with band manager and works fine. I wanted to set up a wifi system but coudn't do so...
  11. Hi dear friends, I recently bought a Crown XTI 6002 amplifier. I am new to the amplifier and I absolutely have no idea in setting up the amp to connect with system architecht through wifi. I couldn't get the USBX here in india so I tried with household 802.11 b/g/ router which has a usb port. The software detect the wifi signal but not the amp connected to the router through usb cable. There is no problem in connecting the amp to band manager through usb cable but I couldn't connect it to system architect. Can anybody help me in setting up a wifi system other than with USBX. I have system architect 3.40 running on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Thanks
