  1. Hi, I have a general question about power conditioner use and haven't found my answer after searching the web for 20 minutes. Anyway, I have two racks, one has our outboard effects, tape and CD players, plus power to the board. The other rack contains our McCauley DSP and amplifiers (4 Crown CDi's). We also have Furman power conditioners - one in each rack. So my question: Can I leave the individual components on indefinitely and use the power conditioners as master power switches for each rack? I.e., only push two buttons for power up and power down of the system? I have done this in the past but this is a new, expensive system. I don't want to take chances and I especially don't want to damage my new equipment. Is this technique recommended or not? Thanks, Will
