  1. That is what I thought. I returned the DBX and the second one did the same thing. So I was wondering if the probability of that occurring twice was low, and therefore thought it could be the amplifier. I guess I can return the second one....just wanted to make sure I was not going to look like I did not know what I was doing. Silly question but did you confirm all cables are working properly? Yes confirmed cables are working properly. Even bought some new ones.

  3. My XTi2000 works just fine if I go from my mixer main L/R out to amp ch 1 and ch 2 in and then amp ch1 and ch 2 out to speakers. When I put a DBX 231 in between the mixer and XTi2000 only one channel works. (mixer L/R into DBX 231 ch1 and ch2 then DBX 231 ch1 and ch2 out into XTi2000 ch 1 and ch2 in and thenXTi ch1 and ch2 out results in only one speaker working.) Both speakers will work if I do the ch 1 ch2 combine (sum) using the software inherent in the amp. I can't figure it out???
