About chunky

  1. Ok, I will get the info to you today. Thanks for the quick reply!
  2. WE have a cdi2000 with 1.1.5.6 firmware powering our subs in bridge-mono mode. Signal comes in and registers on the amp input meter. However, if the input signal is less than -5 db for a period (eg. 2 min), the amp drops the output. We still continue to see the same input signal coming in so the input signal has not changed. If we raise the input signal again to (additional 5-10 db), all of a sudden the amp will begin sending output to the subs again. But the levels are too loud, so we pull back the input signal to a reasonable level and eventually the output from the amp drops again. The dropping out takes place instantaneously at some point (pretty consistently at 2 min). If we maintain the higher input signal (so the input level showing on the amp is just under peaking), the amp keeps the output signal on. the only signal processing we have running on the amp is a 90Hz LPF. Any explanations for this behavior are appreciated. Even more appreciated are suggestions in how to correct this. thanks Update: We left the unit running after it cut out without boosting input signal. After 1 1/2 minutes, output came back for 30 sec then dropped off again....
  3. Can I verify firmware without a PC hookup? I just tried to check the manual, but couldn't look it up. Thank.... or does it display it on startup? Actually, never mind on my question. I ended up downloading the software. We were running 1.1.1.10 on all amps. I updated it to 1.1.5.6 Now it seems to be working. Kind of strange though. We'll see if anything changes. Thanks!

  5. We have 4 cdi 2000 amps setup to power house speakers and subs in our church sanctuary. Signal inputs to the amps are coming from a TOA D-901 digital mixer. For some reason, the amps have recently started to fail to produce sound on their programmed preset settings. I will switch to another factory preset and sound returns. When I switch back to the programmed preset (programmed via PC), there is not output. I have been changing the factory presets via config screen to match (as best as I can) the PC programmed preset for the time being. What can I do to troubleshoot this? Thanks! Thanks! andrew
