  5. fud57, the cables Im using are speakon/neutrix I do have them in bridge mode not per channel. We out figured the problem it was the input sensitivity adjustments I needed to make. To bad the bose representative couldn't figure this out. Thanks fud57 for the advise appreciate it
  6. Kevin I could kiss you ) (joking) the input level sensitivity was high 20/18, when I changed it to a lower number and the bass increased. What level should I try to put it. Here's what I found http://pro.bose.com/pdf/pro/app_notes/pana...tonoise_amp.pdf Thanks, thanks, thanks
  7. http://pro.bose.com/ProController?url=/pro...ray_sys_dig.jsp Kevin here's a copy of the panaray controller that I have. I do have the output set to 20db Pro, and still not enough power. Kevin when I mean not enough power I have to turn the crown amp with the mixer all the way up in order to get a loud bass. When doing this I'm 1-2 feet away from the subs. FYI Thanks for your help I truly appreciate it
  8. Kevin I'm going to try it later on today, i'll keep you updated and thanks Kevin on the Panaray controller doesn't go from 0-18, it starts from the (-) negatives numbers to (0) zero I have it set to Zero And I'm only using the Panaray Controller and the Crown amp. Im going to try and call and Bose Rep and see what they say any suggestion, anyone please I need the thumb, hahahah
  9. Kevin I'm going to try it later on today, i'll keep you updated and thanks
  10. I hooked up my Bose MB4's 4ea to my Crown XTI 2000 and I have to crank it up all the way to get a thump. I'm not familiar with the software at all, i figured I give it a try. I hooked the computer to the amp and noticed the output level was no where equal to the input level. I set up my panaray controller to MB4 4efx 100 I had a Bose representative come to my house and he hooked up 2ea amps (QSC 702 and 1102) and his amps performed extremely well with the knobs turned 1/4. I know my the XTI 2000 can perform as equal or even better, need some technical expertise, thanks
  11. Thanks both of you guys really helped, I appreciate it. Take care
  12. by downloading what does it do, and where, again i'm really unsure what the purpose of downloading. the power is already in the amp. please explain thanks Ok, here's the link: http://hiqnet.harmanpro.com/downloads.php, this is only to set up crossovers settings and change the EQ's, thats only if you wish to do so.... for example; on my xti2000 I boosted the low-end of my subs and have a low-pass filter at 80hz... and for my bookshelves that are running on my xti1000, I only got a high pass filter at 70hz, ... If you wanna use the amplifier at full range and by-pass any EQ/x-overs then just select the DSP Off option on the lcd screen. thats about it.. Thanks, this helped alot. I think I'm going to leave it alone for now. I was using a mackie amp, and I switched to the crown and you can hear a big difference between the two. I'm wondering if I purchase a better crown how would that sound (TI series). again thanks

  14. Please help, I just purchased a crown XTI 2000 and I'm confused. I've always used powered speakers, so this amp thing is new. I'm using the amp for 4ea bose 802 series 3 speakers at 240 watts at 8 ohms I've read the manual but it's french don't undertand the terms. on the LCD screen what should I set it to? what software am I downloading and for what.
