  1. XTi 4000 Issues

I am finding issues with my XTi 4000. When I connect my USB cable to it and open system architect, the input signal does up and down without having and audio source. Why would that be happening? '

  3. I currently have: 2 Crown XTi 4000 1 Crown XTi 6000 2 JBL SRX722 2 JBL SRX728 I plan to bridge 1 XTi 4000 to each JBL SRX728 subwoofer. And I plan to run the XTi 6000 in stereo to the 2 JBL SRX722. How do I properly daisy chain these amps together? Diagram would help immensely. Thank you in advance.
  4. I currently have: 2 SRX722 1 SRX728 1 Crown XTi 4000 1 Crown XTi 6000 I am looking to purchase a new SRX728, but I am holding off on purchasing another amp for now. Is there any way I can run 2 SRX728 subs and 2 SRX728 top cabs with just 1 XTi 6000 and 1 XTi 4000? Any help is appreciated.
  5. JBL EON 15 G2's with SRX728

I would recommend an external x-over. Even though you can set the Low Pass filter up in the XTi,, for the subs, by simply selecting the Bridge-Subs Preset from the front of the amplifier, you will not have any High Pass filter for the Eons. Without the HP filter you would only have one half of a crossover filter set and the Eons will also be trying to reproducing the same low frequencies as the sub. With and external crossover like the dbx 223 XL you can send only the frequencies above the x-over point to the Eons and the sub frequencies to the XTi giving you a cleaner and tighter sound. Without it the subs would get muddy. Thank you for your reply. Considering that I probably won't be able to get that processor by this weekend, I will have to setup with what I have. I have never ran this rig before with EONs and SRX728 with the XTI 4000, so could you tell me how to run the cables and what is a good setting to put the limiter because I don't want the DJ to blow out the sub. Thank you. Do you plan to run the Eons in stereo or mono? I plan to run the Eons in stereo. Could you send me how to run the cables in both scenarios? Stereo and mono. Thank you.

  7. I am going to be renting out my SRX728 this weekend, and bridging it with a Crown XTI 4000. The DJ has his own JBL EON 15 G2's, so how am I supposed to setup the settings on the amp to run this rig? And is the sub to powerful for this setup?
  8. I just purchased the Crown XTI 6000 and opened the box. I noticed that the power cord is not a standard power cord. I looked at the manual and it said it was IEC C20 / NEMA 6-20P. How exactly am I supposed to plug this in? Is it safe to convert it to 5-20p? Just need some light shed from anyone else who has used this amp and maybe help me regarding how to power this amp.

  11. Powering JBL SRX722 & SRX728

Thank you for your quick reply. I will review the help section, but I am still confused as to how to set up the amp to the correct setting to bridge the XTI 4000 to the JBL SRX728, and run the XTI 6000 in stereo to the 2 SRX722 speakers. How do I run the cables from one amplifier to another? Do I need to daisy chain the amps? If so, how do I daisy chain this system. I am trying to find out how to link up the amplifiers and then find out where to connect the inputs from a mixer. Could someone please help with this? Just to see if I am understanding this correctly, should I use Preset 11 that comes with SRX700 Presets All 8-15-07 Revised.XTI.device, which is SRX722 Biamp with sub or do I need to select Preset 13 Passive with a SRX728s sub? I do want to power the SRX728 with 1 XTI 4000 in bridge, and power the 2 SRX722 with 1 XTI 6000 in stereo so I can get the best headroom possible. Thank you.
  12. Powering JBL SRX722 & SRX728

Thank you for your quick response. I am going to hold off on buying the 2nd srx728 for now. I am looking to purchase an XTI 6000 for the 2 srx722 and then bridge the xti 4000 to the srx728. Will I need to purchase a driverack to process the sound or will the crown amps take care of what I need to get the power and quality I need? How is the quality of two XTi 2000 run in Bridge-Mono with one amp per speaker vs running 1 XTI 6000 to both srx722? I did find the tunings on the jbl website for the srx700 series. There is one file SRX700 Presets ALL 8-15-07 Revised.XTi.device, and I found in there the settings for the XTI, but is this specific to any 1 kind of XTI amp, or does it work for all XTI amplifiers, especially since the XTI 6000 is fairly new? Is there a step by step guide where I could better understand how to setup everything in HiQNet for my system? 2 SRX722 2 SRX728 1 Crown XTI 4000 1 Crown XTI 6000 Thank you
  13. I am new to the whole PA scene and I slowly trying to educate myself. I currently have: (2) SRX722 (1) SRX728 (1) Crown XTI 4000 I am looking to purchase 1 more SRX728 sub, and I am guessing I will need 1 or 2 more amps to power the whole system. What amp(s) should I get to completely power this system? And what is the best way to wire this system and what do I need to set the amps settings to get the best sound of the whole system?
