About J.Babon

  1. I am running a aux fed sub set up through an EQ - into a crossover then to a Crown XTi 2000 - DSP Set up [iNPUT Y (Ch. 1 input signal goes to Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 output. - Ch. 2 input signal is ignored.)] & 2 -700Watt 4 ohm sub's when playing live. Practice space is limited. Can I run just 1 sub on outpt #1 & not connect to output #2 without changing the amps DSP input setting or without damaging the amp for practice?
  2. I have 1 XTi 4000 for Mains & 1 JBL JRX 125 (1000W@ 4 ohms) in practice studio. Can I run the amp in stereo mode & use the #1 input & output without connecting anything to the # 2 input & output or do i have to run in bridge mono mode?
  3. Just purchased 2 JBL SRX 718s - 800w cont. - 1600w Prog. - 3200w Peak - 8 Ohms. What amp/amps should I consider? Should I run Stereo or Bridged Mono?
  4. I have 1 - Crown XTi 2000 - 800W Stereo 4 ohms (per ch.) - 2000W Bridge-Mono 4 ohms - running System Architect software 2 - JBL JRX 118S sub's - Power Capacity 350 watts - Peak Power Capacity 1400 watts @ 4 ohm's I want to run a Aux-Fed Subwoofer System Questions 1. Should I use Sub Synth ? 2. With a single input (channel 1) should I select Input Y to power a sub on each output ? 3. Should I set the XOV ? OFF ? 2 ch. sub ? or custom ? Any help is always appreciated Thanks in advance
  5. The JRX118S is a 4 ohm speaker - 1 XTi 2000 run in stereo mode = 800 watts per side - per pair
  6. I have the XTi200 driving a pair of JBL JRX118s Subs (4 ohm) in stereo mode. Can SUB SYNTH only be used in Bridged Mono ?
  7. Thank you for the reply. Would I be underpowering the speakers at 500 watts?
  8. I have purchased 2 JBL JRX18s subs - Can I run them through a XTI 1000 or do I need the XTI 2000? - shuold I use Stereo or Bridged mono setting? - What Y settings should I use? - If I use bridged mono should I hook the speakers up in parallel?
