  6. so if i understandthis right, My amp puts out 400 walts pr channel (stereo)@ 4 ohm, and i am useing 4 ohm speakers, so the amp is pushing 400 walts to each speaker? If i add 1 more 4 ohm speaker to each side this makes it 2 ohms? And my amp says that it puts out 570 walts pr channel (stereo)@ 2 ohm. but you are saying that each speaker will only be getting 285 walts? And can i add an 8 ohm speaker and a 4 ohm speaker to each side? will this work and if so what is the walts and ohms? iknow i ask alot of ?. sorry thank you for all your help

  11. I am a new want to be dj. i bought a used XLS 402 and hocked it up stearo to a pair of nady 115 speakers and i think i turned up the amp to much because the horns on both stoped working. I want to buy a good pr. of speakers to use with this amp. i want to be able to turn up the volume all the way and not blow the speakers up. There will be more than just me runing this amp, and some of the people will turn it up full with some hard rock song playing and i dont want to blow it up. I am thing about buying a pair of JBL JRX125. Will i blow them up doing this?
